IC Solutions Vice President of Engineering and founder Wayne A. Shade is a former FAA certification engineer intimately familiar with the FAA certification process. Wayne started his career in 1985 working for the Naval Air Warfare Center in Trenton, NJ, then the FAA Technical Center in Atlantic City, NJ, and then FAA Atlanta Aircraft Certification Office.
In 1998 Wayne was appointed by the FAA as a Designated Engineering Representative (DER). He founded Innovative Consulting Solutions, Inc. (IC Solutions, Inc) to assist businesses certify their products. Innovative Consulting Solutions, Inc. utilizes their experience from both sides of the fence to provide your business with the timely completion of your certification projects.
Wayne earned a Master of Engineering degree from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
IC Solutions encourages its customers to develop close working relationships with our DERs in order to increase our level of effectiveness. IC Solutions also coordinates with a variety of consulting DERs offering additional FAA approval capabilities depending on your individual project requirements.
IC Solutions currently enjoys repeat business from a major PMA manufacturer, agricultural spray facility, aircraft galley equipment manufacturer, and an auxiliary fuel tank installation facility.
