IC Solutions, Inc. was founded by Wayne A. Shade, our current Vice President of Engineering. As a former FAA certification engineer, he is incredibly familiar with the FAA certification process.

Meet Our Founder

Educational Background

Wayne holds a Master of Engineering degree from Penn State University. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Professional Career

In 1985, Wayne began his career at the Naval Air Warfare Center in Trenton, NJ. He then worked for the FAA Technical Center in Atlantic City, NJ, and the FAA Atlanta Aircraft Certification Office. In 1998, Wayne was appointed by the FAA as a Designated Engineering Representative (DER).

Establishing IC Solutions, Inc.

Wayne founded IC Solutions, Inc. to help businesses certify their products. He leverages his experience from both sides of the fence to provide customers with the timely completion of their certification projects.
